The Project Scheduler works with Project Management and Production to create Critical Path Methods(CPM) and a schedule that maximizes customer service performance while maintaining an efficient utilization of production and supply chain resources. This team member will create and issue a feasible CPM Project schedule to ensure that all Project Team Members have a clear understanding of the project Milestones as defined in the customers’ requirements and the design approval gates, methods and processes to achieve internal milestones and customer required milestones.
Bachelor s Degree In Engineering and/or equivalent planning and scheduling experience in a project environment.
A minimum of 5 years of scheduling experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively make complex decisions within a limited time frame.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines and multiple levels within the organization.
Proficient understanding of ERP systems including Primavera, and MS Projects software.
Strong analytical capabilities with strong technical writing skills for reporting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
Should have an independent & organized work style with the ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work responsibilities, assume and manage multiple tasks without close supervision while ensuring that deadlines are met.
Must have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving manufacturing / scheduling related issues.
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
